TRUE ASPECT MASKING 2-WAY (TAM 2) SCREEN

Imaging is known as optimum when the projected image is exactly bordered by matt black edges, which provide a significant contrast enhancement together with a real focus on the image.

Achieving this is done by using motorized masks to adjust the black borders of the image to its actual size, which depends on the source aspect ratio.

The TAM 2 (True Aspect ratio Masking - 2way) is an acoustically transparent projection screen using the Enlightor fabric range, provided with automated lateral masks controlled by Electronic Solutions systems for a complete, versatile interfacing with any home automation system. It can also be simply controlled by IR of RF remotes.

One of the most remarquable features of the TAM-2 screen is that its frame width is exactly the same (3.7in. 94mm.) as the Reference Fixed series, which is simply because it uses the same frame profile. Only a slightly rearwards extension hides the motors assemblies.

The motorized lateral curtains of the TAM 2 screen are made of our proprietary acoustically transparent Black Backing fabric, and the projection material is one of our Enlightor fabrics selected to client’s preference.
