Fundamental to the design of this screen is the unique Enlightor AT screen fabric. Developed to meet the needs of digital projection, Enlightor fabrics use a proprietary woven structure eliminating the unacceptable moiré effect produced by fixed pixel projectors when shown on conventional perforated or micro-perforated screens.

Integral to every Screen Excellence REFERENCE screen is an acoustically transparent black backing; this woven material is fixed, as a secondary layer, to the back of the Enlightor fabric and completely absorbs any rear wall light reflections. The black backing also has the added benefit of improving the image contrast.
