Constant width, variable aspect ratio

Imaging is optimum when the projected image is exactly bordered by matt black edges, providing a significant contrast enhancement together with a real focus on the image.

This variable aspect ratio is obtained by the displacement of independent top and bottom masks, allowing numerous pre-programmed positions, the standard ones being 1.78, 1.85, 2.35, 2.40. It is also possible to program a dissymetrical layout to allow captions to be outside the image.

One of the most remarquable features of the TAM-2 TB screen is that its frame width is exactly the same (3.7in. 94mm.) as the Reference Fixed series, which is simply because it uses the same frame profile. Only a slightly rearwards extension hides the motors assemblies, the total depth being 130 mm (5.1in.).

The motorized masks of the TAM-2 TB are made of our proprietary acoustically transparent black fabric, whilst the projection material is one of our Enlightor fabrics selected to client’s preference.
